Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review monthly Aging reports.
Apply any payments received/deductibles.
Must be able to identify, document and investigate any discrepancies on Aging reports.
Generate spreadsheets to track applied payments.
Contacting various insurance companies to obtain EOB information.
Review and process monthly ERA statements.
Document detailed ERA payment notes.
Position Requirements:
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
Time management skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel experience and proficiency.
Very detail oriented.
Ability to follow and take direction.
Critical thinking skills.
Must be a team player.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
