The completed application will be reviewed for completeness by the Human Resources Department and other designated Managers, who will determine whether to interview the applicant.
We do not automatically interview all applicants.
If no interview is planned, the application is placed in an active file for the position involved and held for a period of three months.
These applications are reviewed at a later time, if and when additional openings for the position become available.
If an interview is planned, the applicant will be contacted by the Human Resources Department, normally within one to two weeks after the position's announced close date.

Interviewees who are selected for employment are usually contacted within two to three days after their interview.
Arrangements will then be made to complete all necessary paperwork to begin the background investigation.
Many pre-hires will be required to complete an application packet for Arizona Department of Gaming Certification and/or a Tribal Gaming License depending on position offered.
The fee for certification will be payable by the pre-hire depending on the position offered.

If you are selected for the position, a background investigation will be completed that includes, but is not limited to, verification of:
Employment History Education Personal References Comprehensive Financial Background Check Criminal/Civil Record (Fingerprints will be sent to the FBI) Driving Record Current Filed Federal and State Tax Returns Important information for the candidate.
Felony convictions will be grounds for denial of Gaming Certification and/or a Tribal Gaming License.
All new hires will be required to submit verification of authorization to work within the United States in accordance with federal law.
Employment is contingent on passing a drug test.
Preference in filling any non-grant / non-contract funded vacancies is given to enrolled Tribal Members of the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe and to other qualified Indian candidates in accordance with the Indian Employment Preference Policy and Procedure.
Documentation of Tribal enrollment required (Tribal Enrollment Card, Certificate of Indian Blood or Tribal Voter Registration Card).

Non-Exempt SCOPE OF WORK:
Provide administrative support to ensure all Yavapai Gaming Agency documents are in compliance with the Tribal/State Gaming Compact.
Will become familiar with the Tribal/State Gaming Compact, National Indian Gaming Commission's (NIGC) Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS), the Tribal Gaming Code, Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA), the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Title 31, and Departmental Internal Controls and Job Instructions.
WORK PERFORMED:
o This job description does not constitute an employment agreement between the Tribe and the employee and is subject to change as the needs of the Tribe and requirements of the position change.
The above duties and responsibilities are not an all-inclusive list but rather a general representation of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position; o Will provide computer applications and database support; o Will originate and maintain various Casino Operations Internal Control Documents, Job Instructions and Forms; o Will control and track agenda items in route for Yavapai Gaming Commission (YGC) and Board approval; o Will coordinate/organize changes to existing Forms, new Forms, existing documents and new documents and coordinate with Management on agenda presentations and format; o Will ensure MICS are addressed and correspond with appropriate documents; o Will prepare and compose from brief oral instruction or written draft, documents requiring discrimination and judgment, with direction from Management; o Will develop, track, and maintain interactive documents; o Will be responsible for all document posting to the Local Area Network(s) for organizational use; o Will train, advise, and review office staff on Internal Control and Job Instruction preparation and posting; o Will operate various office equipment (e.

, copier, fax, postage meter, etc.
); o Will perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
o Must have a high school diploma or GED; o Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and adhere to the Tribe/Gaming's Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace Policy during the course of employment; o Must pass a background security check prior to and during the course of employment with the Tribe/Gaming Agency in order to meet the Tribal State Compact and/or Tribal Gaming Ordinance; o Must adhere to all Tribal/Gaming Agency Personnel Policies and Procedures; JOBDES-Operations Compliance Administrator o Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and be insurable under the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe's Auto Insurance Carrier; o Must have knowledge and understanding of gaming operations and controls; o Must be able to meet and/or exceed deadlines; o Must have reliable, accurate attention to detail; o Must have a minimum three years' advanced personal computer experience; o Must have a minimum one year local and wide area network and network server experience; o Must possess comprehensive knowledge of the Compact and MICS as they relate to Internal Controls, Job Instructions and Forms; o Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong orientation to excellent customer service; o Must have comprehensive knowledge of and experience using a range of computer applications, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Access, PowerPoint, and Windows XP; o Must have knowledge of modern office methods and procedures, filing, telephone techniques, and standard office equipment; o Must be self-reliant and capable of working independently as appropriate or necessary; o Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality; o Must be able to lift, and periodically carry, up to 25 lbs.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
o Prefer an Associate's Degree in Business Management or related experience; o Prefer an ability to type accurately at a speed of 60 wpm.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
